Sunday Junior Hockey at BB&N
Skills and Scrimmage
Ages 7–14
November 29, 2009 – February 28, 2010
4:15 pm–5:30 pm
This season, the club's junior members will have their own hour and a quarter of ice on Sunday afternoons at BB&N. Depending on player turnout, the ice will be divided into two or three cross-sections:
- Skills clinic with Jordan Ross. Jordan is a former youth hockey and high school varsity player, who has experience coaching girls and boys hockey. He will customize each session to the ages and skill levels of the skaters. Jordan will be teaching Power Skating during the time period before Junior Hockey.
- One or two cross-ice scrimmages organized by age and skill level. These games will be supervised by Junior Hockey coordinator, Jordan Ross, with assistance from parents and older junior members. Questions? Call Junior Committee Co-Chair, Dan Monahan (616-441-2911), or email Club Director, Lauren Audley, cambridgeskatingclub@comcast.net. Players are asked to arrive early enough to dress so that they can take advantage of the full time period. Players must be properly equipped – helmet with full face mask, hockey skates, shin guards, cup or pelvic protector, hockey gloves, elbow pads, and stick. Optional equipment: hockey pants or girdles, shoulder pads, and neck guard.
If you have children who are interested in attending the Sunday afternoon hockey clinic, please download and return this form to CSC.
